  it was one year ago today, that i mailed my disassociation letter.

  i had postponed my da'ng to spend months (many sleepless) gathering research to help "rescue" my jw friend of 26 years.

  i called her finally on june 30. turns out, she could have cared less.

  im working in an electrical store , a one man operation, and everything goes thru a computer system called "myob", all purchases and sales.

  anyway, i wouldnt have a clue how to operate this myob program except for selling company registered parts.

  some salesman from the parent company told me to obtain a rubber seal for a vegetable steamer the other day, it was for a little old lady called "mrs warburton".

  The vette is nice but I LOVE the picture in the back ground of the old gas station. I am very attracted to places like that. Old general stores, run down barns, abandoned houses. Why?????????? dun know.

  were you ashamed of being a witness?.

  how did you feel about identifing yourself as a jehovahs witness to others?.

  i often used to hide it because of the stigma attacthed to it.. was anyone actually proud to be one?

  OMG, I was soooooooo embarrassed and ashamed. I dreaded Saturday mornings lest I should run into one of my classmates at the door. Thats all I needed, more assults & insults at school. Luckily I rode the bus and knew where most of them lived.

  Hiding the JW from the world (Me) & hiding the world from the JW (Me). No wonder I'm confused. All the hoop jumping for them wouldn't save me at armegedon since God knew my heart. I was doomed. I just wanted to fit in some where, and be liked. It took me many, many years to tell any one I knew I was raised a JW. I knew God hated me because I was ashamed of Him. Now I see it wasn't Him I was ashamed of, it was the Org.. God lovingly waited for me to catch up, I'm working on it.

  The bible tells us to HONOR our fathers and mothers. Honor = reverence, public esteem, credit, symbol of distinction, exalt, ceremonial rite or observance, (just to name a few)

  This is one celebration they SHOULD follow (biblicly speaking). What part of honor don't they understand?

  oh darn...i hate when life grants those wishes, when you ask for them.

  this august 7th i leave the u.s. and fly to rio de janeiro and will be coming back late january or should time provide, mid march.

  i dread staying untill march, because of carnival...i know, i know...terrible, absolutely terrible.

  My son the baptist.

  thursday evening after taking our daughter to dinner to celebrate her fourth birthday, my son (five years old) disappeared.

  zoe said he was over at the "church park" a playground next door on the baptist church property.

  i wandered over to look for him but he wasn't there.

  Many years ago our family lived in Maryland, just outside of DC. The Baptists used to send a school bus around to gather all the children in our apartment complex. I found them to be very bribing. Used alot of gimics to get the kids. I let the kids go a few times ( I wanted them to experience all kinds of religions ) but they seemed real pushy.

  Moved back to KY. My daughter had a friend who sprent the night once. She was baptist. Turns out she could not come over anymore because we didnt go to church on Sunday morning. Her mom labled us hethans. I always respected the beliefs of any kids at our house. I didnt know I had to go to church for them though. I did let my daughter go to church with them a few times she was 10 or so. The church hounded her by mail for weeks. I told her never to give our address to a church again. In my experience they want CONVERTS and they go for the kids. Yes they can be OH SO NICE & fun.

  Poor baby, I feel your pain.

  "SPA Professional" natural aloe vera AFTER SUN RELIEF GEL / with Lidocaine. Great stuff. Its a blue clear gel, I keep it in the fridge for extra comfort. It heals, cools and numbs. Has vit. A,D, & E in it.

  I tan easily so I don't need it to often.

  I stopped taking many pictures of my four yr. old granddaughter, she is so pale she would glow in the pictures from the flash. I wasted so much film.

  Don't forget the Advil, really helps.
